AY Gate Control Panel
To open AY Gate Control Panel click the AY Gate icon on your desktop.
AY Gate Control Panel is used to control AY Gate Server running on your computer. You do not need the control panel to send email, the sending is done by AY Gate Server. The AY Gate Server starts automatically when your computer turns on and it is immediately ready to send email. Use AY Gate Control Panel only when you want to change AY Gate Server settings.
AY Gate Control panel lists all the web scripts that you have installed. AY Gate Server only uses one script - the one that is selected in the AY Gate Control Panel, but you can install several scripts and switch between them. For example, if you have two web sites, you can install AY Gate script on each of them. Normally, you would send through one of the scripts, but if the corresponding web site goes down, you can quickly switch to a different script.
AY Gate Control Panel menu consists of the following items:
Script performs general operations with AY Gate scripts.
New starts the AY Gate Script Wizard to let you generate and install new script.
Delete deletes the currently selected script from AY Gate memory. Do not forget to delete the corresponding script from your Web site.
Edit opens the Mail Sending dialog to let you specify how the currently selected script should send email. See also Sending methods.
Test send a test message through AY Gate. You will be able to specify a sender and recipient with the Test Send dialog.
Exit closes AY Gate Control Panel. AY Gate Server continues to accept mail behind the scene.
Settings adjusts AY Gate Server settings.
Local SMTP Port opens the Local SMTP Port dialog to let you enter a new port for AY Gate Server.
Advanced Network opens the Advanced Network dialog to let you change network settings for AY Gate Server.
Mail Clients opens the Mail Client Setup dialog which displays settings necessary to switch your mail client to AY Gate. It can also change settings for some mail clients automatically.

Help opens up this help system.
About displays AY Gate product version and release and your registration number (if any).
