Confirm Macro

The Confirm macro may only be used in the text of address verification letter generated by AY Track. The address verification letter is sent to a subscriber when a subscription requiest is received. You can use the Confirm macro build a confirmation URL, which the subscriber needs to click to confirm the subscription.

If you do not specify Confirm macro in the address verification letter, e-mail validation will be used instead - the subscriber will have to send a reply to the address verification letter to confirm the subscription.

URL?#/Confirm/#

URL is an URL pointing to the web page where the subscriber is going to be redirected after confirmation.

Example:

http://www.yourwebsite.com/confirmation.html?#/Confirm/#

When your subscriber receives the email, the link with #/Confirm/# will be replaced with a special link with confirmation id, which identifies the subscriber information. The subscriber must click on the link for subscription to be confirmed.
